Spanish physician and writer. He was born in Lorca, Spain. He converted to Christianity in 1412 and assumed the name Geronimo de Santa Fe. He became a physician to anti-Pope Benedict XIII. He initiated the Disputation of Tortosa (1413-14) in which he was a participant; subsequently he travelled widely, attempting to convert Jews to Christianity.
